I just completed a project for a realtor in the suburbs of Boston. They asked my to help out because the previous images did not do the house justice and they were not getting the foot traffic they wanted.

Real Estate photography requires a quick turnaround, smaller image files, and wide-angle vistas. Available lighting was more than sufficient; since I take multiple exposures of each subject to expand the dynamic range (detail between shadows and highlights) of the image, creating more depth and warmth.

Without the need for studio lighting, I can quickly move about the property creating the images my client needs in a timely manner. The only “retouching” was color correction and merging multiple exposures together.

The result is images that will greatly help the realtor (and homeowner) entice prospective buyers to call to view the home, which is all one can ask for.

I am pleased to announce that my prints earned four blue ribbons at this year’s PPAM Print Competition, held February 27 at the Plymouth Radisson Hotel. I was one of only three photographers to earn four blue ribbons and the only one to do so in each of the past two years. Images were judged by a panel of Master Photographers from around the country using stringent criterion established by the Professional Photographers of America, including composition, lighting, and digital manipulation.

I want to thank everyone at the Mitchell Construction Group. They are the design/build company responsible for the projects I photographed. They produce an exceptional product which makes my job a lot easier. You can visit their website by clicking on their name.
